Key Features
We designed our Middle School Math Solution to ensure it's aligned with state and national core mathematics standards. The Standards for Mathematical Practice (SMP) are intricately woven throughout every page, lesson, activity, and workspace.
Other software just tells students when they’re wrong. MATHia is like having a coach by their side, providing real-time feedback and interactive examples to show students why they got something wrong, and how to get it right. To say it simply, MATHia works with them until they get it on their own.
Built-in facilitation notes, planning support, and reporting dashboards help you feel confident that you're able to cover everything you need to throughout the school year. The consistent lesson structure will help your students understand where they are in the lesson and sets expectations for each activity. Family resources support math learning at home for students and highlight how math can be used in the future.
LiveLab, our live facilitation tool, was named "Best Use of Artificial Intelligence in Education" in the 2019 EdTech Breakthrough Awards. It provides in-the-moment, actionable data, such as when students are working or idle, so teachers can effectively manage students working in MATHia at all times. LiveLab alerts teachers when students may be in need of additional support, and also notifies them when students have reached progression milestones.
MATHia empowers students to take ownership of their learning by visually displaying their progress toward multiple skills on the Progress Meter. And as they become more proficient in each skill and clearly see their progress, their confidence grows!
MATHia gives you all the real-time data you need to effectively guide student learning. The Session, Skills, Student Detail, and Standards Reports provide a day-to-day view of student progress, while the APLSE Report accurately predicts where students will wind up at the end of the year. The Leadership Report gives administrators the wider view they need of student outcomes in schools across the district.
