Steven Mendoza has been working in education for 17 years as a teacher, math specialist, accountability specialist, and school improvement specialist. For two years, he has led Carnegie Learning's Strong Foundations Planning grant collaborations in Texas, working alongside districts to craft and implement instructional frameworks for mathematics. Prior to his time at Carnegie Learning, he served as the lead Accountability Specialist for a regional service center in Texas, and he also supported districts engaging in school improvement processes.

Jimmy Brehm
With over 18 years of experience in public education, Jimmy Brehm is dedicated to enhancing student achievement nationwide. His expertise spans district leadership, school administration, and classroom teaching. Prior to his time at Carnegie Learning, Jimmy supported schools throughout Kentucky as an elementary teacher, principal, and Chief Academic Officer, where schools under his leadership showed significant increases in academic achievement.
